Daniel Walter Cochran is an adept musician. He has been playing the piano for over 10 years. He played the harmonica for his Boy Scout troop whenever he went on Boy Scout trips.

Daniel Walter Cochran has performed at several recitals and events. He was awarded "Best in Piano of the Sigma Delta Talent Show" for preparing to perform "Musique pour la Tristesse de Xion" by Yoko Shimomura at Southern Wesleyan University in spring of 2016.
